04 The story

Keep it cowboy

Luke Geiger is a country artist out of Mackay, Queensland, and one of the most in-demand live performers in the state. The reputation is simple enough: professional, non-stop, hi-energy, and a crowd that leaves knowing they got their money's worth.

Inspired by icons like George Strait and Garth Brooks, Luke mixes old-school country soul with a modern edge. It is nostalgic without being a museum piece, and it is built to be played live in front of real people.

In 2019 he took his original music to the United States, playing shows through Texas before cutting his songs in Nashville at Direct Image Studios with producer Kenny Royster, whose credits include Luke Combs' Hurricane. Eight singles have followed, from Ride in 2020 through to I Ain't Singing This Song For You.

The rest of the story gets written on the road: rodeo arenas, showgrounds, street parties and festival main stages, right the way from Mackay to Mount Isa, Darwin and the south east.
